West Bromwich Albion are interested in signing Josh King from Bournemouth before the summer transfer window closes on October 16, according to . It has been reported that the Premier League club have held talks with the Championship side to see how much it would cost to secure the services of the Norway international striker this month.

Javier Subirats has said that he does not think that Leeds United were Rodrigo’s first-choice club to join in the summer transfer window.

Vissel Kobe centre-back Tsuneyasu Miyamoto confirmed his retirement in a press conference on Monday in Japan.

The announcement concluded a 17-year career for the 34-year-old, the majority of which was spent at home-town club Gamba Osaka.

Miyamoto made his professional debut for the side in 1995, eventually becoming a regular starter and gaining the attention of European teams.

Miyamoto made his first international appearance for Japan in 2000, the same year he earned the captain s armband for Gamba. He went on to make 71 international appearances and led the Samurai Blue in the 2002 and 2006 World Cups as well as the 2004 Asian Cup.

Fulham have signed former Real Madrid man Mahamadou Diarra for the rest of the season, with an option for him to stay until the end of 2012/13.

The 30-year old defensive midfielder has made 74 appearances for Mali and signs pending the successful granting of a visa.
