A graphic novel titled Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver – The Dead Shall Rise has been announced, and it’ll serve as a prequel to the games starring Raziel. It’s not a new game or a remake of the classic titles, but something is better than nothing.

An official collaboration between Crystal Dynamics and Bit Bot Media, the Soul Reaver graphic novel will reveal more info about Raziel’s past, his days as a Sarafan warrior, and how he came to serve under Kain as a vampire. NBA 2K22 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S will feature an upgraded version of the social hub called The City. In the new game, players can take on quests that advance their story career and upgrade their homes.
